CHOY at our Bronx partner restaurant
CHOY plates are cooked out of a traditional Chinese restaurant in The Bronx that has been feeding the neighborhood for over 20 years. We built the menu together with them on their line. Orders will be fulfilled exclusively for delivery via Uber Eats — no in-store customer pickup.
Blanched to order
every plate is blanched when you order it
Nothing is cooked in advance here. Your vegetables go into the blanching water the moment the order comes in, the protein is velveted to order, and the plate is assembled fresh. It takes a few minutes longer than a steam line would — that's the trade we're making for now, and we think it's the right one.

the full steam line
The storefront is built around a different service model: vegetables blanched and chilled in small batches through the day, the whole bar in front of you, and your plate finished in a flash steamer in about 30 seconds. Same water-based cooking, far shorter wait.
